Quilts

Sewing quilts is a delightful journey of creativity and comfort. Hand-stitching the design adds a personal touch, allowing me to feel every thread as it slips through my fingers, forming patterns and textures that speak to my heart.

As I hand-stitch I embrace the rhythm of the needle gliding through the fabric while I enjoy catching up on one of my favorite shows. The slow, deliberate movements turn into a dance, that turns into a stunning piece of art.

As the quilt starts taking shape, my anticipation builds as I envision the final reveal. I often try out or “audition” different borders and color combinations by laying the pieces across the bed. My quilting group gives me real-time feedback and encourages me to escape my comfort zone.
