Meet Ronee B.

Sewing isn’t just about fabric and thread; it’s about empowerment and creativity! Ronee B believes that every stitch we make is a step toward building essential life skills, especially for our youth.

Teaching sewing is like giving a gift that keeps on giving. Young people learn not just how to sew, but also how to problem-solve, express themselves, and gain confidence in their abilities. From threading a needle to creating their own unique designs, sewing challenges them to take initiative and see projects through to completion.

Additionally, sewing fosters mindfulness and patience—skills that are increasingly important in our fast-paced world. It encourages focus and promotes a sense of accomplishment when they complete their projects.

By incorporating basic life lessons into each sewing project, we enable youth to understand the value of perseverance and creativity. Whether it’s learning how to measure fabric, following a pattern, or even mending a simple tear, these are skills that extend well beyond the sewing machine.

Ronee B is not just teaching sewing; she’s shaping future innovators and problem-solvers, one stitch at a time!
